The Dental Doctors Has Begun To Resume Dental Care/ Emergency Dental Care With New Protocols in Place to Safely Care for Patients
The Dental doctors has begun to resume providing dental care/Emergency dental care in accordance with the new guidelines issued by Health Ministry (Dental Advisory). As we welcome back our patients, our number one priority is their safety and well-being, as well as that of our doctors and team members. while this has always been the case, it obviously becomes even more important in the midst of a global pandemic. In spite of this situation, our organization is well prepared to face this challenge.
Because of the COVID-19 virus, we will be implementing additional protocols to protect all those who step into our practices. The protocols are based on guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) , Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India , Dental Council of India (DCI) and Indian Dental Association (IDA).
Here are some of the new procedures you can expect:
- Prior to an appointment, we will ask every patient a series of health screening questions and will take their temperature and SPO2. If a patient is not feeling well or has an elevated temperature, we will ask them to reschedule their appointment.
- We will request that all visitors wear a mask or face covering to their appointment.
- We will ask each patient to complete a screening document, which is required by local board of dentistry.
- We will request the patient to come alone to their appointment (If Possible). The exceptions are parents/guardians accompanying children, people providing emotional/ physical support.
- We will require patients to wash their hands before and after their appointment. (Request every patient to read and follow the instructions in notice during clinic visit).
- We will request that all visitors maintain at least 1 meter ( 3- feet) distance from others while in practice.
- We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in our clinic at any one time.
- Doctors and team members may wear additional personal protective equipment (PPE kit), such as N- 95 mask , surgical mask, head cap , gown, and face shield during exams/ treatment.
- Request note, If you have a scheduled appointment time and need to reschedule or cancel, please notify our clinic reception at least 24 hours prior to your appointment during our regular clinic hours which are from 09:00AM - 07:00PM Monday to Saturday. We will gladly reschedule a more convenient appointment time for you. This will help to manage the appointment schedule and allow for social distance between patients.
- Finally, we have always taken pride in our clinic efficiency with all appointments running "on schedule". Please be patient with us during this time as we implement these additional safety precautions.
Our team members have worked extensively to ensure your safety and well-being while in our care. We want to ensure you can feel comfortable visiting us at your next appointment. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your dental doctor.
